I basically agree with the others on Canal 2. There are some major problems with this place, mainly thin walls, bugs, and the smelly hallways. Although I never complained about the noise to the management, I would hope those who read these ratings would heed the warnings. Canal 2 is extremely loud because of poor insulation and design. It doesn't matter if the person above or next to you is trying to be quiet, you just hear everything. I had decent neighbors and we all talked about the noise levels, how you could hear things and whatnot, so we all tried to be respectful to each other. Still, to no avail, there was a lot of noise. I bought a house and that's why I'm moving, but even if I were to continue living in apartments beyond the expiration of this lease, I would probably look for somewhere else.
