Canal Club

 

I lived in the original Canal Club complex for 6 years and it was the best apartment I ever lived in.

The grounds and plantings were very nice and some thought had gone into having something blooming somewhere during the warm months.

I was on the top floor and had this cool vaulted ceiling in the living room with a half moon window over the sliding door that went out to the deck.

My view was a pine woods about 40 yards away.

I had a 2 bedroom and chose to sleep in back bedroom facing the woods-quieter and cooler in the summer.

Amazing amount of closet space and it was great to have the washer/dryer unit in the apt.

Free heat was a blessing as well.

There was pretty good insulation between apts.

or I always had quiet neighbors because noise was never an issue.

Any maintenance issue was dealt with promptly.

The staff was great especially Denise.

The only annoyance I had was when people grilled too close to the building and forgot that hot air and smoke rises-my apt would reek of grilled whatever, lol.

Do check this place out, for the money, its a nice place to live.
