I recently just moved in on April 17, 2008 and the management was very helpful. I am from Illinois and had to search apartments online and then only had one day to come visit all of the apartments. I looked at over 15 apartments. Price, management, proximity to my school, and also space was a big deal breaker. At Capitol Commons the management stayed later to show me the apartment and when I moved in on 4/17/08 I did not get to Lansing till 9:30 p.m. and the management was here to give me my keys and check me into the apartment. I also filled out a condition report of the apartment and turned it in the next day, which was Friday and the maintenance guys came early Monday morning and fixed everything. (Two screens were replaced because of small holes and I did not have a doorstopper in the second bedroom) Yes, this was minor stuff but I loved how they treated my condition report as major stuff and took care of it right away!! The management is very friendly and professional along with the maintenance guys. I love my 2-bedroom apartment, which is very affordable. I have lots of closet space, new carpet, dishwasher, patio, and central air. I would also like to say how nice and clean the grounds are kept and how I am able to find parking in front of my building.

If you are looking for a great apartment with management that will go above and beyond then you should move into Capitol Commons. I would definitely renew my lease when it is time and let all my friends know!!!
