If you enjoy the cops coming through your apartment every few months with drug deals, but you still somehow having people deal drugs in the parking lot then this is the place for you. They showed me a renovated apartment before I moved in then they stuck me in the most run down apartment I have ever lived in. The air conditioner leaked into my bedroom and caused mold to build up under the carpet and on the walls. This seriously aggravated my allergies to the point where I woke up coughing every morning (I do not smoke). The apartment is a decent size for the money and the location is okay. Butler street does not get plowed, however, and the incompetent maintenance man plows the snow behind and in front of your car in the parking lot. The maintenance here is difficult as well, sometimes take up to two weeks to respond to a complaint. He is also an idiot, my closet was not opening correctly so he said that it was off the track, he could fix it he just needed some tools. He never comes back. A few days later I call up to the office and put in a "work order" which is the only way you can get anything done here. He then came to my apartment and said they were on backwards, then said he realized they were too tall! Nothing was replaced or cleaned before I moved in. The carpet was stained, the toilet and shower were disgusting. Also, being surrounded by children makes for extremely noisy evenings. Not to mention the near constant domestic abuse you can hear through the walls.

I also live at Capitol Commons, and have spoke with the staff there. The police that came through with the dogs were there doing training, anyone paying attention would have seen the big yellow sign saying K-9 training . Also at move in they take the resident and walk them through their new apartment! So if someone doesn't care for the one shown, there is such a thing as i would like to see another one. As to the plowing i have noticed a different company out there plowing, and if we as residents don't let them know something is bothering us, the staff cannot take care of it. When ever i put in a work order, my request is taken care of within 24 hrs. Yes you do have to call it in, what ya think they are mind readers.
