Devonshire has turned out to be a great place to live.
My apartment is on the top floor; I face south and always have sunshine beaming into my living room. My unit is also on the end, so I am also able to have a second window in the bedroom. The carpet is new, the stove is new, and the fridge, dishwasher and garbage disposal are in great condition. Sure, the cupboards and drawers have a dark, 70?s appearance and have not been updated, but to pay just over $500 in rent for such a great place has made those aesthetic flaws worth it.
My neighbors are quiet and considerate, and parking has never been a problem. When I did have issues with another tenant and his drunken obnoxiousness in the parking lot, it did not take Devonshire long to evict him.
The management has also hired overnight security to patrol the property every weekend, and one other random night during the week.
Overall, Devonshire is a middle of the road community into which I have not regretted moving. If you?re looking to find that added luxury and high class, then go double your rent somewhere else. Devonshire gives a lot of bang for the buck.
