For anyone looking for an apartment in the area, don't move here. I lived at the Devonshire for 2 years and 9 months. I had my car broken into once (Even with a security guard on duty. By the way the guards are only on from 10pm to 2am 3 days a week.) By lic. plate was stolen off another car I had at a diffrent time. We had the SWAT TEAM there once for a man who was armed.
The kitchens have 70's dark cabinets, You are responsiable for cleaning your own heater vent and replacing the filter, Our patio had a wooden floor and was rotten with nails sticking up. There is a light that I was told later is a fire hazard because it is under the kitchen cabinet that has no off switch. All the apartments have this light in the them. And they are bright enough to light up the kitchen, dinner area, and the living room. The apartment manager was told and still nothing was fixed. Your water is proraded by apartment. You tell me how 2 people could run up a bill of $40 a month and onthe last month it's $18 and nothing changed. We saw a 7 year old kid piss on the side of the building. Manager said that unless (THEY SAW IT) there was nothing they could do. Big dogs were not aloud at the place but the maintain people had big dogs there. Dog crap was not picked up. On warm days you could smell dog crap in the air. Adivce is to stay clear of this place. I found cheaper apartments in the area for $100 less and you don't have to pay for water. Plus we didn't get our $200 dollar deposit back either. They gave us $173.17 They said it was a paper work fee. Yeh right. I'm still looking into it.

i lived in the country and cow manuer was everywhere. dog doo is not that strong. little kids pee all the time.

This comment contains untrue statements of fact. Residents are not responsible for the furnace filter, the grounds are cleaned up or else residents are fined for not cleaning up after their pets,the cabinets are old but you knew that going in there, any maintenance requests are taken care of same day or the next or if an emergency done within a half hour, if you find cheaper places for what we offer then e-mail me at plftz@yahoo.com and I will tell the regional manager.
