I have lived at Devonshire on Canal since I started law school in Aug. of 2003.
I found the management to be very helpful and friendly. Not only that, they've gone above and beyond the call of duty to help me, from my first day, when they helped me load the boxes I'd shipped to myself into my car, to last summer, when they graciously allowed me to pay only half my rent for four months when I unexpectedly had to go home to Texas for the summer.
The management has also been very responsive every time I've needed some maintenance. They've come out right away, so I certainly have no complaints there!
As far as cockroaches, I have NEVER seen even one here! (And coming from Texas, where even the bugs are "Texas-size" that's a very welcome change.)
So, I would highly recommend Devonshire on Canal.
