Out of all the places that I have resided in the Lansing area this complex, along with its management have created a situation that is not only unsafe but intolerable. They do not take residents concerns seriously, i.e there is no WORKING light at the mailboxes and on several occasions there have been people lurking in the shadows in that area. The security is absolutely nonexistent. I have never ever seen a security guard even though they claim they are there 4 nights a week. When I inquired about who the security firm was and what hours they are here, an answer was never given. Perhaps that is why it was so easy recently for vandals 2 nights in a row break into peoples cars and take their property. The neighbors have no regard for how noise travels down the hallways or through the floor. The staff is not only arrogant but extremely rude. They are quite nice until you sign your lease but after that they have 12 months to treat you like crap. On many occasions they ignored phone calls regarding problems and never returned messages. It is no wonder that in my building 75% moved out the moment that their lease was up this spring (only 1 was a student).

I am in agreement with the above stated complaints, as well could add my own in regards to the feel that the complex has lost it's sense of what kind of residents choose to reside on this side of town instead of over in "college town" (was told to start calling the police about noise complaints when I called the office due to a neighbors obnoxious use of a suped-up sound system; even with the new township ammendments to the noise ordinance as stated in the monthly newsletter that residents on this side of town recieve in the mail). If I wanted to live in a constant trashed party atmosphere I'd live there, not at a place that only cares about it's appearances when it's time for an inspection by the property management or when the news crew is visiting the complex because of ANOTHER break in...
