I moved here about 5 months ago. So far, I have had no immediate problems. When I moved in and turned in my sheet of items to check off in the apartment, everything that had been broken or damaged was replaced or fixed within one week.
The only other problem I have with this community is that the street coming into my community off of Willoughby has NO lighting. They said about 3 months ago that it was being fixed and I have seen electricians outside BUT nothing has changed.
They have started to replace all of the damaged garages, so the outside is starting to look a little more friendly.
Personally, I live in the townhomes and I can come right off of Willougby to get to my apartment, so I don't see much of the other side of the complex. I have very nice neighbors (in fact, they are all older and retired) so it is very quiet and peaceful.
The office staff has been VERY nice to me...everytime I come in, they stand up to greet me and ask me how I am doing and if I need anything. They have also started to hang signs on each door every month...if you need anything done (not only maintenance, but like a picture hanged or a lightbulb) you write it on the card and they will begin working on it within 24 hours.
I highly recommend Oak Park.
