I've been living in Oak Park Village for two years now. Overall things are okay. Not sure what other people have mentioned about maintenance issues, but the few times I've called, someone has been out almost immediately to fix the issues. Where my townhouse is located, there are garages everywhere, and only one actual parking space in front of about 5 townhouses. So, it's almost impossible to park close by without getting a garage. This isn't typical of all the townhomes, but the one I'm in and the ones next to me are somewhat screwed. Also, the outdoor lights near the sidewalks seem to go out a lot and I think are stolen as they often just seem to have no bulb in them.
