Aside from the obvious lack of grass at most buildings, most buildings have shingles that need replacing, the management is less than interested in any complaints you have along with the need to have repairs made. My landlord was not even there for the signing of my lease, so I don't even know if the thing is legal. We had a water leak in the bathroom, and when maintenence finally came to fix it, the pipe broke because it was so brittle. The water leak was so bad, and the management kept disregarding our calls about it, until they finally came to fix it and all of our cabinets in our kitchen have water damage, and the leak was draining water down our wall, onto the kitchen counter, and making the ceiling drywall soggy. We have yet to receive new cabinets, and it has been approximately a month since our "fix". My landlord tells me that the leaking problems are a common problem in many of the buildings. That's reassuring. Damages that needed to be fixed when we moved in, which we notified the manager about the week we moved in have yet to be fixed. The water heater is extremely weak, allowing you only extremely short showers. People here are loud and the area is not so great. Overall, if you've got problems here, you're not going to get them fixed. It's a bad place to live, that costs too much in rent for nothing to get repaired.

While this isn't the greatest of places to live it hasn't been bad. The management seems to be pretty helpful. I don't always feel safe but I keep to myself and thing are fine. The apartments are very cold which means they have poor isulation but it really isn't too bad... I wouldn't want to live here long term but it was worth the price I've paid for my rent...
