The upside of things: I have lived in Stone Ridge Meadows for 2 years. When I moved in everything was awesome -the management, buildings, the grounds, maintenance, etc. One manager in particular (Shawna) has been excellent and continues to deliver great customer service to this day. I was in one of the (completely) remodeled units and I absolutely loved it and always received compliments from guess on how nice my apartment was. My experience with maintenance has also been positive and I have not had any issues with vermin.
The downside: Over my time in the complex the residents in my building have changed and my building went from being a quiet and clean facility to being one that is filled with individuals that don't care about the property. There is a plethora of cigarette butts that litter the front stoop and dog poop piles that cover the grass around the back stoop. I don't know if this is the case in other buildings on the property but it is/was the case in the building that I resided in. I understand that this has nothing to do with management as they can't get rid of people who choose to through down cigarette butts or not clean after their dogs. On the other hand, management has not enforced any strict rules/fines to make sure that this problem goes away and stays away. I have reported it. Notices go up in the hall but the butts and the poop keep coming.
In summary: It's a great place to live but just make sure you live in building with no dogs and few and/or clean, responsible smokers.
