Horrible management ... liars ... poor service. Stay Away!!!

First of all, I was never given an inventory list to fill out when I moved in. My mistake, but it was my first time as a renter. When I asked for one during the scheduled final inspection I was told I didn't need it. BIG mistake.

I was charged to replace the carpet in the entire apartment when I moved out because I had spilled chocolate milk in the bedroom. A carpet cleaner I spoke with said it could have been removed. Tammany Hills told me they thought it was blood. And it has been nothing but a huge battle ever since ... they tried everything to keep my entire deposit and charge me more on top of that. I refused to pay and it was reported on my credit. I disputed it and had it removed and then Tammany Hills put it back on my credit TWO years later. If you know anything about credit that is totally illegal. I'm in the process of getting this straightened out. But my advice is to stay away. UPDATE: I won ... Mulder Management was ordered to remove everything from my credit or continue with a claim I brought against them for illegal credit reporting ... they removed it and FINALLY quit bothering me.

If you want a nice place to live try Clearview Apartments in DeWitt or Crestwood in Lansing. I live there now and the management is great and they actually clean apartments before you move in. 517-669-2010 is the number.
