It is sad that I actually loved living here at one time. When renewing I was told maintenance would clean my carpets and no one has. I call the office and go in and watch the office staff write up work orders and still no maintenance man has ever called or come over. My work orders take forever, the leasing girl will do a follow up a few days later to make sure ever thing was done and working and discover no one has taken care of it to begin with. So a second order will be wrote up and still nothing. When someone does bother to show they come in teams, smell like weed (which is nice and might explain why they have to come back more than once) and are rude. I have sent letters about this in with my rent but they have gone ignored. Much like everything else around here. I have lived here for about 4 years and the maintenance and grounds have gone down hill, almost to the point where it is embarassing for people to visit. I regret signing a new lease. I have seen 4 managers come and go (all of whom seem to be nice and compitent) yet they keep a maintenance staff who spend most of the day not working. The intercoms don't work and when you mention it to maintenance they give excuses. My intercom hasn't worked in almost 6 months. The lights in the hall are always burnt out, the smoke detector batteries are always going off and maintenance does nothing. I have mentioned these things to Joe personally, he is in charge but still they all go unfixed. I call in a work order and they still never get around to fixing anything. The only nice things I can say is that my neighbors are great (but also moving) the office staff and cleaning lady are wonderful but unfortunately even they can't make up for the lack of service you get from maintenance. Needless to say I can't wait until September.
