This is far and beyond the worst apartment I have ever rented. The noise from the apartment above me is unbearable and I am breaking my lease because of it. I have called the police, spoken to management, and asked my neighbors to come and listen to the noise level. I can hear their TV, them walking, bathing, and talking. Its like living next to a train track. My walls rattle and you can see the blinds moving as the people above me march around. Managment sucks and is slow to send maintenance out. My water heater went out twice in the first month and a half that I lived here. One of the tubs has a crack in it that hasn't been fixed in the 7 months that I have been here. I keep calling and they keep NOT coming. I don't even shower in my own bathroom because spiders are nesting inside the crack. When maintainence does come, they do get the job done. Its the getting them there that is the problem. The walls near your front door are also very thin and you can hear everyone else coming and going. If you don't turn your TV up loud enough you would think they were in your living room. This summer I had ants really bad! I coudln't tell where they were coming from becasue I would see them in the middle of the room. I keep a clean house so I knew it wasn't food or anything that was attracting them. I sprayed and called the office to send someone out. When the guy finally showed up 2 weeks later he "spot checked" and since he didn't see anything he didn't spray. Needless to say- I still had ants. They were coming in through the wall and bringing in dirt from outside. It was so bad I had to have the county come out and they concluded that the community needed to send someone out again to spray the inside and outside of my apartment. Everything was fine for a while and then I started seeing flying ants in my tubs, my neighbor said he had them really bad and thought they may be coming up through the pipes. Once their apartment was sprayed I didn't see them again. They have changed a few policies from what was stipulated in my lease as well. They send you fliers on colored stock paper explaining the change, but the Manager is never in for you to speak to. Actually the manager was recenly fired and there is a new one. If you are feeling daring or desperate give this place a shot, but if you have other options...........TAKE THEM!!!
