Woodland Lakes

My family and I have been here for over 6 months. Price is decent, comparable to the "going rates" out there. Love the appliances. We have a great washer and dryer, ice-maker in the freezer, disposal, dishwasher. Love the 2 full bathrooms. Maintenance is good, they have fixed minor things like clogs, and disposal breakdown pretty quickly-within a couple days. Carpet is berber so it unravels in high traffic areas which is annoying. They forgot to shampoo when we moved in but they took care of it right away. Staff is very friendly and courteous, Beverly and Renee have been wonderful. Very clean atmosphere, no trash lying around. No upstairs neighbors present at move-in so it was quiet. Once we got neighbors, the noise was unbearable but staff took care of it and now we have a good relationship with them. Parking could be better. Get a unit with parking in front if possible. Wish it was assigned-can be a small inconvenience if you get home too late. So far the outside noise has not been bad at all. The walls are way too thin, u can hear louder voices pretty good, which is not good. You can hear ppl walking up and down the steps-in your bedroom-which is annoying at times but you get used to it. When the neighbors front door closes, it makes your apartment rattle. So definitely some sound/construction issues.

We have kids so we let them ride bikes-great atmosphere for children. This place is good for families & mature students. If you like to walk/run/exercise, the workout room is great (could be bigger!!) and there is plenty of even, clear sidewalk around the whole complex. I recommend this complex to people who respect others property, are mature & considerate, and take pride in a clean neighborhood.
