Whispering Woods Apartments are very nice and have an excellent staff. They offer 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. Each apartment has either a balcony or a patio which are great for relaxing outside or to have your barbeque. Also, there is a nice pool which is great especially if you have kids. The maintenance of the apartments and grounds are very well kept and always look beautiful. The staff will help you with any problem you have as quickly as they can and fix it with great skill. There is roofed parking for an affordable monthly fee. The roofed parking is quite convenient and a great idea. The buildings are fabulous and the hallways have been recently redecorated with new paint carpet and tiles. There is also free heating which saves me a lot of money. This winter was extremely cold and saved me hundreds of dollars.

I wonder why this is the first posting that appears? Because this is the best one???. Most of the other posts are the real truth - this place is not worth spending money for. Be sure to read the other reviews. The car ports are NOT LIT and its very dark and dangerous. They should offer those at not charge but you have to pay monthly fee for them to park there. What a joke! The grounds are not well kept. In the winter good luck having the walks cleared and salted. You will need to get your own heater to keep warm during the cold months. The owners do not turn up the heat high enough to keep you warm. I think they want to make sure you don't spoil and want to keep you cold. LOL. The maintenance guy (and there's only ONE for all those units!!)is terrific but he can only do what the cheap owners will approve. There is only one washer and one dryer for eight units per building. And it's upstairs!!!!! lugging your laundry up and down those very steep stairs is no picnic. In fact it's very dangerous. There are ants running around every where! The windows leak and the owners probably won't replace them .... because it costs money. So they just rake in the money but won't spend much of it to make repairs and upgrades. They do the least they can get away with. Two Scrooges, those brothers. So no matter how many management co. they hire, their hands are tied because the Scrooges won't ok changes.
