I rented at this place for 2 years. These two old men are a scam. You will not see your $500 deposit. They will damage the apartment and take pictures after you move out. They will take you to court for silly reasons so they can take your money. This place is evil. They will take everything you have in court. You will be punished at the end. Every year they would raise my rent $15 for no reason at all. greedy.

They may pay heat and water but you cant control the heat in the winter so you actually have to open a window to cool the place down. Who uses radiant water heat' Only a run down place like this.

My name is Greg Stroh, i lived there for one year, up until August 31, 2007. I just recieved $75.00 back from my security deposit, they charged me for a 8'and a 2' countertop in the kitchen, note i am a bachelor and eat fast food 99% of the time and never cooked. They claimed the counter tops were cut-on. I also put in a new tile floor in the kitchen, yes i bettered the place and got penalized for it, i understand them wanting to charge me for the floor, but the day i moved out and turn the keys in i asked Elliot the owner to do a walk-thru to make sure everything was alright. He claimed he couldn't leave the office, had i been looking for a place he wouldn't have had a problem showing me a unit. Note the floor was just a stick on, i would have and could have tore it up in about ten minutes , the old floor is still under it. Oh he also charged me $4.85 for two light bulbs in the walk-in closet. Tomorrow i will confront him, and insist to go back in to see if they did replace the items. He just lost a judgement with Federal government for not renting to Africian Americans and was fined $750,000. He is trying to recoup that money off me, and i'm not going down that easy. My mom also has been in the apartment rental business for over 20 years and has told me where they have gone wrong in their paperwork.
