They won't let you see the lease and charge you an application fee and paperwork fee. (against the law).

They charge high fees. Everyone pay different rent even though on line they have adds that their rent is cheaper.

The maintence personnel are slow and don't know how to fix anything.

They are deceitful in their practices.

Whatever you do, don't move in. You'll be sorry.

They will tell you their lease is lawful when indeed it is not.

Application fees are not against the law and most of the time they pay for the credit and background check. People pay different rents because the market changes over time. Some people pay less and some people pay more. It is like that at many communities, even non-village green ones. You always have the right to read your lease and ask questions. Besides, you have to see it to sign it. Also the company has lawyers that go over and create all of the paperwork used. If it wasn't lawful it wouldn't be used.
