I lived there for three years. Had to relocate. After giving them a notice, they inspected everything in the apartment and found nothing wrong. After several months, when I was in a process of buying my own home, I found out that there is a collection notice and negative comment on my credit report. Turned out, the management had sent a collection notice of $40.00 something without sending me any notice of charges first. First of all, they were supposed to return our deposit , after contacting them many times, I had given up hope. And on top of that not only they didnt return our deposit, they were asking more money. What kind of damage was there that had cost them 800 dollars, I will never know. But for the sake of argument, even if there was something wrong / damaged, atleast they should have notified me. They had my forwarding address. But I never recieved any correspondence from the management. It hurt my credit score quite badly.
