Center Court sucks. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING ever gets fixed. I moved in 2 years ago, and I still have things broken that were broken BEFORE I moved in. In one of the buildings, the smoke detector has been laying on the floor for over a year. The rain gutters haven't been cleaned out in so long that there are plants growing up in them. Lowell itself is a pretty safe town, but the cops have been to this complex plenty of times. The laundry rooms were broken into, and they put these cheap code entry things on the door that don't open half the time. It just sucks here, but unfortunately, I can't afford anywhere else. The apartments just came under new ownership, and the lazy managers are retiring, so hopefully things will start changing soon.

CB Richard Ellis took over management in January of 2005. Since then we have evicted 7 tenants who were not paying rent and causing problems. When we first took over management, we received calls/complaints daily. That is all but non-existant now! We have been systematically fixing up the apartments. We have replaced several A/C units, refridgerators and stoves. We have painted, installed new carpet, and have Enviro Clean cleaning the common areas weekly. There is still a lot of maintenance, painting, and repairs we need to do, but we are constantly working to improve the living environment for our tenants.

I'm considering moving here. I've lived in low-income housing prior to this move. I believe everything you say; however, this apartment is in my budget. Could you tell me this: Was the amount of money worth the size of your room? I'm interested in purchasing a one bedroom apartment. I can deal with the noisy neighbors; broken elevator, and sadly enough garbage. However, I can't deal with an apartment that's literally falling apart. Does management respond quickly to maintenance order requests?

This review is old and out-dated. Can someone post what its been like in the last year or two? Size, Condition, Neighbors, Section 8?, what you love and what you hate??
