Great Place to call home!!

I moved here about 4 months ago and love it. I know most the people in my hall, they are very friendly. The place is very nice and having a furnace with ducts is 100 times better than those baseboard heaters and an AC in one wall. This moves the cold air from the central air down the hall and into the bedrooms and bathroom. Yea, I said Central Air.
This place is a little pricey, but so so worth it. The garages are well, garages, but they are there. The mailboxes are far away, but we could all use the exercise, I'm wondering what my take will be on that during the winter though. My place has a bathtub in the master bathroom and the guest bath has washer/dryer hookups and a shower for friends/family guests!!
There's not many downsides, but the sinks have no sprayer. Something I've been used to all my life, and it takes getting used to! The garbage disposal is a great tradeoff for it, that thing could probably eat a whole pumpkin. I do live in a non-smoking building, but at least 3 of the other 7 apartments in my hallway have smokers in them, so I smell it half the time I'm outside. I think the fartfans in the bathrooms and linked as I used to smell smoke in my bathrooms in the evenings and that's why the whole building is supposed to be smokefree, the bathroom fans share some ductwork. I'm guessing though.
The patio's are great, very nice, and the upper decks seem very spacious from the ground and I did check one out before I moved in.
Lastly, Redfrog Internet isn't half bad. It's pretty quick, but can be laggy at times. Don't get it if you're an online gamer. They have a router for building 3&4 and my speed tests will range from 2 megs to down around 75k (just more than dial up) so there's too many people on it to be consistent. If you're just a shopper/emailer/surfer, it is competitively priced and you're supporting a local small business.
Amy in the office is super super nice and Roger, the maintenance guy can be a hoot. We're just a hop and a skip from Meijer, the bowling alley, and there's a really nice liquor store down the road called Paulies. There's the essentials, and for the rest of anything you might want, there's 3 auto part stores, a TSC, a hardware store, movie theater, and various bars, restaurants, fast-food joints and shops. The power company is run by the city and has a $150 deposit, but for all the convenience and safety record that Lowell offers, this place is 5 steps above Center Court. Most of that is because Stoneridge is expensive, and doesn't accept Section 8 welfare housing, so it keeps the riffraff away. I could see myself staying here for a few years and getting a house as the market starts picking up.
