Despite a few maintanence problems, Northport has been great so far. The view is beautiful; I love being able to see the lake as it is very relaxing. The staff has been quick to fix most problems, though a few have taken a little too long. I haven't had any problems with noisy neighbors (though I am sure that varies). From what I am reading of other people who complain, it seems like they are high-maintanence renters. If you're single or married without kids, this place is great.

For the price, this is literally the best deal there is (we compared Northport to nearly every other place in the area through an apartment-finding company). Utilities are included (save electric) and you get a washer and dryer in the apartment. The rent is decent, and with the above two factors, its value is great! Add a very nice view and you've got yourself a cofortable place to live. Mind you, it is not pure luxury, but it is definately worthwhile.
