We live in one of the renovated models and think it's great, except for one major flaw...the shower on the second floor often leaks down through the floorboards into the dining room below. When we complained to management, they told us that it was a common problem in these buildings. Just to warn you, they DON'T consider it their responsibility to tell you about that "common problem" before you sign your lease. And they insist that there's nothing they can do to fix it. We ended up putting duct tape all around the caulking of our bathtub. It doesn't look great, but we haven't had leaking problems since then. I'm marking the "quality" as 2 stars because of the leak, but otherwise it's nice.
Another note of interest: we found out after we had moved in that a woman had recently disappeared from the complex. She's still missing. Some areas are dark at night, but the area really seems pretty safe, but it was something I would have wanted to know about before signing the lease. I haven't heard about any problems since then. I'm marking "safety" as two stars because of the dark areas.
