This place is a hell hole , I just want to add to the previous review. Whom ever that responded about the maintenence men is true they are lazy and dont like to work , just becuase he gave a kid a bike still isnt a part of his job, and far as the office is concerned they are RUDE and are only nice when its conveniant for them to be. I used to live there and have since moved to Mulberry Lane which is more friendly and the staff is helpful. Try asking former office staff whom is working at another complex how they treated her.Myself personaly will not recommend to no one and by myself being and employee of Dow and knowing that lots of new employees are looking for apartments wont get Josephs Run as a place to live. They must be paying these people to respond with good replies to make this place look good.Thats one big lie , just keep in mind dont waste your time or your money on this place .

I am the "former office staff whom [sic] is working at another complex" and I don't know what they're referring to as "how they treated her" I enjoyed my time at Joseph's Run. It is a very nice place (which I also lived in for 4 years)to live and work. I left simply to further my career with a local management company, for no other reason at all. There are more happy residents than angry ones. As for the "Dow employee" bit, to begin with I find it hard to believe a "Dow employee" would have such terrible grammar and spelling. AND since Joseph's Run is a tax credit or income restricted property, most "Dow employees" don't qualify to live there in the first place. I'm glad you are happy at Mulberry Lane. Since you've moved on and found a home that better suits you, it's not really necessary to bad mouth the last place you lived. The "lazy" maintenance men always fix what needs to be fixed and they come in for emergencies any time day or night even holidays. I don't see this as a definition of "lazy" by any means. So if they ride a tractor around the property that makes them lazy? Does it also make the people complaining about parking lazy because they have to walk? How should the maintenance guys transport their tools and supplies? What about the winter? Do you all realize the "lazy" maintenance guys are there at 3am to make sure your sidewalks are plowed and salted? That sure doesn't sound "lazy" to me.

First of all the "LAZY" maintenance men do a half ass job of removing the snow from the side walks. How many people in the last 2 winters have slipped and fell on the ice? They should have stayed in bed.You may have enjoyed your time here but there are many people that are glad your gone and cant wait until your x co worker is gone to. I still talk to many many people that live at josephs run and believe me when i tell you that there are far more unhappy people then happy ones. That place has really went to crap and if the real managment dont step in fast its not going to get any better. They need to fire all the staff and start over because the people running are running it in the ground. Once agian I would NOT recommend this HELL HOLE to anyone. Take my advice and many others DONT DONT DONT MOVE IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's been like a year or less since i lived here, and i can say that i had nothing but a pleasurable experience. both jamie and sara were awesome people to work with. any time we had an issue, including noise from neighbors, it was taken care of promptly. as far as snow removal comes in, i used to hear that lawnmower starting up around 5am when it snowed the previous night.....and when it snowed a lot, that guy was there in the dead of night plowing. given the fact that they used a snow plowing company for the roads in the complex, it was kind of out of their hands as to when those were plowed. but I can say that i never once was stuck or found it an issue during the winter.
another positive note on maintenance.....in the middle of winter, when he was at a birthday party...i called the emergency number. my heater went out, and i have two small children. without missing a beat, he was on his way from Bay City and was there not more than thirty minutes later fixing my furnace.
any time i had any issue, it was taken care of. my thoughts.......if there were SO many unhappy people, why don't they speak up? last i knew everyone has the ability to speak up.... that being said, enjoy your career at kelly services.........err... dow chemical...and much success in your renting. way to go sara!! hope your new job goes well.

The reason why Sara left this post is because she is still affiliated with Joseph Run and doesn't want to burn her bridge where she is now. She know exactly how this place runs and what goes on here, but good way to make yourself look good there sweetie. However don't post your lies and corruption on this sight because everyone really knows what this place is like and what really goes on here. I didn't think that post was bad at all and what about the spelling it wasn't bad. You Sara are a joke just like the rest of this place and the people that are in charge. If it is such a good place how about you give all of us the name and number to the owner and let's see if they agree with your B.S.
