I'v been here December 07 and I'll have to tell you after reading some of the recent reviews especially the one about how Chesapeake landing should get a pool, and a dog run and this and that is absolutely ridiculous. I'm darn proud just to have a roof over my head and they should be too. Lake Michigan is just 15 minutes. For a dog run go to the park. Chesapeake Landing doesn't owe us those amenities. Times are hard right now and will probably get worse, be thankful for what you have. I feel that this college kids come out here to go to school and think life is one big party then need to get in the real world and respect those (their neighbors) around them. Most of them probably don't even pay for the apartments their parents do. I think if the partying gets excessive those involved should get written up the next time an eviction. I feel the management is really good at doing their job.Just be happy for what you have. Not everyone can own a house, but in these times it's probably safer to rent anyway.
