The only people that should live here are those that don't mind being taken advantage of. I have lived here since October of 2004 and hope to be out of here by end of March. How so early you ask' We are currently involved in legal proceedings with PM Innsbrook LLC. We have held our rent in escrow for two months because they have neglected to make repairs. Our pipes have froze six times this winter, they set fire to our apartment, and the sewer backed up into our apartment in october and our living room, and bathrooms were damaged from the raw sewage (we literally had human feces on our carpet). It took several phone calls for them to come clean up the mess but it took a few threats since this was a danger to our general health. The damage from the fire took about a month to repair but the damage to our carpet still has not been taken care of. If this company would just take care of the problem right the first time there would be no issues. They need to hire all new staff with exception of one girl in the leasing office who has been there to help us in the past. What have we received in return for our troubles' A basket with stale popcorn and crackers, an apartment that is embarrasing to live in, and a lawsuit. If you do not live here but decide to no only are you crazy but you better invest in renters insurance. If you live here currently, i feel for you. Also, those of you that are currently living here if you have or are having nightmares like mine please contact me with your issues. You can contact me at peopleagainstinnsbrook@hotmail.com
I also want to note that my attorney is also representing another tenant from Innsbrook as well, so is knowledgable about the problems. If you do have repairs that have not been made then you have a right to withhold rent. However, your rent must me put into escrow and a letter must be sent to innsbrook stating that you have every intention in removing it from escrow and paying your rent as soon as repairs are made. If repairs are not made in a timely fashion then they have violated there share of the lease and you may terminate without penalty. However, you may need to go to court to do so. If there are any questions i can answer for anyone please contact me at the email address provided above. Good luck to all of you!

I know its risky but I got out of my lease just by documenting, sending certified letters and taking pictures, I left and threatend a law suit and to send the info the the city of Northville. I now have a house and never heard from them again.
