I am just finishing my second year at Park Place an then I'm out of here. The apartments themselves aren't bad. They are really spacious, but you can tell they were cheaply constructed. Lots of cold air seeps in through the windows. In the winter I was freezing no matter how high I turned up my heat (heat that I had to pay for). The couple of times I have had to call maintenance they were quick to respond and fixed the problem. However, they sometimes leave letters stating they will be entering your apartment on a certain day for routine maintenance but then you have no way of knowing if they were actually there or if they did anything.

The office staff can be rude. When you walk in to pick up a package or ask a question they act like you are a major inconvience. On two occasions I asked them to pick up my mail for me, as they advertise as one of their services. Well they didn't do it either time. I'm glad I never asked them to let my dog out, which is another service they claim to offer.

One of my major problems with this complex is other people who live there and how inconsiderate they are. Some one in my building will pick up after their dog but then leave the bags of poop either at the front door of the building or out back, right by my patio. It's gross. Also, they have this trash compactor and a sign asking you to push this button after disposing of your trash to it can be compacted. Well no one seems to be able to do this so the area you throw your garbage routinely overflows and people just keep piling it up there when all they need to do is push the botton to have it compacted. Then the garbage gets blown all over to property and it won't get cleaned up for days, sometimes weeks. They don't seem to clean up the property grounds very often.

I think they charge too much for what is actually offered (which isn't all they claim to offer) and for the cheap construction of the buildings. I wouldn't live here when you can find places in the area that are a bit nicer and a lot cheaper.
