I visited in the Fountain Park Novi because I thought the apt was well managed. First of all, the decision made me waste my money ($50.00 application fee and gas) and time. They encouraged applying in the apartment just like everybody else. However, they never took care of me at all. I submitted all documents and waited their answer until I was supposed to move in. What a terrible situation it was. They asked me to submit additional document when I confirmed my apt. So, I sent a fax to them what they asked. The manager finally gave me a phone call. We denied you because the final document was over 10 days from the date that you applied. What a stupid answer. It was already over 10 days when the apt staff asked me to submit the additional document. It does not make any sense at all. I am guessing either they accidentally sold my apt or they did not like me. Either way, I am lucky because I found much better apt here. It could be a horrible experience to live in Fountain Park. First, this isn't a picture of Fountain Park at all. I live here. All of the buildings are two story buildings with private entrances. This was obviously taken of some other apartment building. Second-why didn't YOU think to call the manager if you were so upset about waiting? What made you so holy that you didn't actually have to communicate with them? Sorry, I think you are a total idiot and had I been the manager I wouldn't have rented to you either.

The photo was not submitted by this person... FYI: I have lived here several years and phone calls are never returned, ever! Bad business. I work with the public daily and I return every call on my voicemail, and when I say I will call back, I do. Phone calls not returned make for very unhappy people. The former managers were very efficient, but they are all gone. There are a lot of very frustrated people living here now. There are some positive points... maintenance is very responsive, but it leaves much to be desired. As for this person being an idiot, I have never moved into an apt. where I had to keep calling the manager in order to move in. That is why they are called leasing agents or resale reps!! That is THEIR JOB.

I am looking into renting at this place. I have gotten a follow up call to inquire if I am interested. The staff has been friendly so far. Hopefully, I don't have to worry about what's mentioned here. If so, I'll be writing another review.
