Here's ONE example of the terrible management: We received a check for our security deposit after we moved out. The issue was they made the check payable to all three roommates. None of our banks would let us deposit the check even though all three of us had endorsed it. In order to deposit it we would all have to be present at the bank with our IDs which is not possible because we work opposit shifts. I phoned the main office regarding this and their reply was, "Our job is to write the check. It's not our job to make sure you can cash it." As of right now we still haven't been able to get our money...

By law they have to write the check to all parties who signed the lease agreement. Try going to a check cashing place, or have the other roomates sign off on the back then "pay to" the last name on the check. They are only doing what they are required to do. |
