Don't ever think about moving here. We have already moved out and are trying to make arrangements for our last months payment. They are unwilling to make an acceptions and are now taking us to court and tacking on an extra months worth of rent since we "Didn't fulfill our lease agreement". If your rent is 7 days late YOU WILL RECEIVE A LETTER FOR EVICTION. 3 days after that THEY WILL TAKE YOU TO COURT. They are constantly switching managment and they have little contact with their parent company Novi 26 Associates which makes it a pain to get any help done and both sides are more than willing to pass the buck to the other company. They are not willing to help. The townhouses themselves are horrible too. From caked on paint, to every single floorboard creaking, to a silverfish infestation, the quality of the apartments is way below the cost. Don't be fooled by the entrance or their club house. During the summer 4 foot weeds give way to a lazy landscaping job at best. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

Did you not realize that your lease is a legal document when you signed it? Wake up! Any reputable apartment community is going to send you a notice if your rent is late by 7 days or more. And if you can't pay your rent on time, you should be living with your parents!

I agree with the weeds, the quality, and the constant change in management, but what of those has to do with you paying rent late? If my rent was paid after the third, they tack on another $50. You have up until like the 12th to pay rent before eviction process occurs. that's almost two weeks late. I've been here 5 years and have paid rent late more than one occasion. NONE of what you're complaining about has any reason to tell us you're getting sued because you can't pay on time. At least now though they do have a rent drop as opposed to before where they wanted you to ONLY mail in the rent payment so it was constantly late (or I'd get dirty looks for dropping it off at the office and 'reminded' they'd prefer it mailed.....they want to deduct the stamps from my rent? Yeesh)
