Not bad, but pricey

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
I lived in Pavilion Court with a roomate from March 2004-May 2005. Overall the place was perfectly adequate and about what could be expected from an apartment. The layout (a 2br, 1st floor apt) was spacious, with two bathrooms being perhaps its best feature. Maintenance was fine. The only problem that we had was with noisy neighbors. The family next door to us got evicted for not paying rent, only to move in with another family that lived directly above us! When both of these families were finally evicted, they were replaced by techno-loving foreigners who were in the US on a short term contract. They stayed up with their music until all hours of the morning.
My stay at PC ended on a disappointing note. I was looking to rent a different unint in the complex with a different roomate for the upcoming year, and we kept getting different answers on apartment availability from different members of the managment squad (one would say they had units, another would say that there was nothing available). My roomate and I ended up renting elsewhere after two days of this nonsense.
One final note: the security guards they employ (along with the gate system) are worthless. They'll let anyone in, whether they have a card or not.
Bottom Line: Not bad apartments if you are dying to live in Novi, but you'll pay for the privelege of living in the suburbs.
