Management lying about taking care of ice

I talked with someone today and was told that they were working on it. I get home and saw that nothing was done. They claim to want to know the building number so they know where to address the problem. The problem is all over the complex. The problem is with the maintenance team they have doing it. All they do is drive there little snow plow(and golf carts) around and barely get the snow removed from the sidewalks. They never clear your porch area, I don't think I have seen one with a shovel in hand all winter. I thought for sure that they would not have to be told to put salt down. I hope I don't fall and hurt myself because I will definitely be looking into suing for negligence.

I nearly fell yesterday. Scared the crap out of me. Ice has been on the walk in front of my apartment for 5 days now. I put my own salt down last night, which helped a bit, but there is almost a 1/2 inch worth of ice, so it will take a few applications of salt to remove the ice, which I really don't want to do myself. I already pay them enough rent that it should be taken care of.
This is B.S.!!
