My husband and I need a place to live after our wedding. Portsmouth was so nice to help us with this transition. The first thing they did was to show us the exact apartment we would be living in. They constantly updated us until it was ready and before we signed anything they let us see it again.

Our only problem was the heat in the room but it only took a $10 space heater to fix that.

It seems that people have a lot to complain about but in my opinion it is all part of the moving process. You cant expect to pay a cheap rent and have a palace where nothing ever breaks. Things break and that is a part of living anywhere. Im sure if they could fix it, they would, it would sure beat having to listen to people complain all the time.

And about the DSL problem and miss information. You can't always assume everything. They are doing their job and if they dont live there and they were told to say there is connection that is what they have to say. If high speed is essential for your job or life, it is your job, before you sign for the apartment, to call the phone, or cable company first.

Overall our experience was great and I would recommend it.

OMG, another BS story from an employee. I'm in the process of looking for a new apartment complex to move into, but this certainly is NOT going to be it!!! I can tell that these "GOOD" reviews are a bunch of BS written by the employees. No way will you get me to ever move into one of these properties. Thank God for this site!!! I'd rather be homeless!
