First impressions last a life time. I should have followed that rule. The weekend I moved in, work was to be done before I arrived. When I arrived, the work was not done and then I was stuck with moving to a new apartment, signed the lease and they didn't make good on their end of the deal. When I called to ask what happened, why the bathroom wasn't cleaned, why things weren't painted; I was told someone in their office got married and they all went to the wedding. Nice! The entire time I lived there, they painted the foyer 3 times for water damage and even when the roof was apparently replaced there was still water damage. ENERGY BILLS are outrageous because the buildings are old. I videotaped the blinds blowing in the winter, when the windows were closed! I was trying to put up plastic window covers and they were blowing all over the place and difficult to put up. I was told when I first moved in that windows were contracted to be replaced...never done. Just high summer and winter energy bills because of LOUSY INSULATED PROPERTY. ICING ON THE CAKE: when I was moving I gave a 30 day notice, paid the outrageous fee to get out of the lease and asked for what was due for the last month which would be prorated. I received a form with that information, paid it on a date before fees would accumulate for being over 4 days late. I moved with no calls, or letters saying I owed anything; as I moved forward knowing I took care of everything. I called a few weeks after my move to see when I could expect my deposit refund, I was told it would be a while. One month after my move I get a refund check less a few hundered dollars of what is owed to me. The accounting division at corporate says I owed in rent and late fees...WHAT! So THE RIGHT HAND DOESN'T KNOW WHAT THE LEFT HAND IS DOING. The leasing office and the corporate offices aren't in cinque! Great for business...now I have to dispute it!

I agree that our energy bills are high, but I haven't had the same problems with the staff.

Seriously, are you an adult??? Sounds like someone didn't read the paperwork that they signed. Grow up douchebag, the world is full of this. Wait til you get a house, boy are you big babies in for a BIG surprise!!!
