Hope you don't want your deposit back

They will not give your deposit back, stating that there are 'legal fees' due to unpayment of rent. This is eventhough we paid our rent every single month on time and never missed a single month. They also will not return phone calls or help you in the office when calling about said deposit, they basically feel that it is theirs to keep no matter what. Stay far away, the apartments are not any good anyway. Old appliances from the 70's and loud neighbors that get their door kicked in by the DEA at 6am are the norm.

I suggest this tenant had other problems with Saddle Creek management. My deposit was returned very quickly. The new, lower rents make this complex a decent value too.

Actually, everything that was stated is very true. I could not wait to get out of there, and some of my deposit was also held back.

I agree with tomfromhowell, that resident must have had payment issues. As to the DEA situation, all you need to do is call the Novi police department to find out how safe Saddle Creek truly is. The appliance do date back to 1989 at the latest, thats when they were built. If the appliance work properly what is the problem?
