This is where I grew up, and I loved it

I'll keep it short and sweet, I lived there for thirteen years, from when I was 3 till 16, and I loved it growing up. Never have I felt a sense of community like that one. The management was nice, always giving candy to the kids at the bus stop, and always waving the fee when you got locked out.
I remember in the big blackout, different members of the community would walk around the town homes all night with flashlights, everyone came together. Every fourth of July people came out to celebrate (you could see about 6 different sets of fireworks from the apartment.
I remember a playground that wasn't much more than a monkey bars and swing set, now a play structure. And In the winter, we would all play on the huge piles of snow until yelled at for our safety by management.
Nobody really wants to hear anymore of my child hood, but my point is the it is a great place to grow up, so keep that in mind if you have kids, and also that my mother must have liked it because we stayed there for 13 years.
