I lived in The Springs for about seven months and I ended my lease early. I did have to buy out of the lease but the expense was worth it to me. There was a long list of things that led me to breaking my lease. First is the layout of the apartment. I was on the top level with cathedral ceilings. When you walked in the front door there was a a half wall directly in front of the door which made it extremely difficult to bring in furniture such as a sofa. Therefore I did not have a sofa in my apartment which sucked but not a deal breaker.

The things that were a deal breaker were snow removal. I am lucky and I normally don't go into work until 10 a.m.. Unfortunately, even at that late hour in the day the snow had not been addressed and I did slip and fall a few times (fortunately I was never injured although a pair of heeled boots did not recover.) Then when the snow removal crews did come around they plowed a single lane down the middle of the parking area which essentially boxes small cars like mine in.

OK, so snow sucked. Again not a deal breaker. Enter the paper thin walls. Now I realize when living in apartments you are bound to hear your neighbors once in a while. However the noise level in my building got to the point I could not watch television in my own living room. I simply could not hear it. I complained several times and nothing was done. I even had an employee of The Springs living in the same section.

Parking sucked. If you got home after 6 or 7 you were parking far far away from your entry. Make sure you walk on the sidewalks or you might step in dog poo.

Threre were a million other little things that led me to get out of there. But I have to say that once I decided to break my lease the office staff was cool with me. I followed the rules and gave them 30 days written notice and I paid them what the lease stated. I made sure I was there when they did the final inspection and I received my entire security deposit back.

how wrong you are. the mrn are out before your alarm clock dings when there is a snowfall. i doubt you would be that dedicated to a job, since now your future renters will know you broke your lease, which never looks good on you. it shows instability.
