I lived in the Springs II for 2 years and had a miserable time. The apartment itself was clean with nice appliances and nice scenery. OK price for what you get. The real issues came from the maintenance. Fixing broken blinds and a leaking shower stall should not take a dozen phone calls to actually get someone out to repair them! The major problem however was the "waterfall" that came out of the bathroom exhaust fan (on the ceiling!!!) and flooded my bathroom over 15 different times over a 3 month period!!!! (See pics.) The office people would act concerned and they would say someone would be right over to fix it, yet no one would show up for days and after several more calls. They even had the audacity to ask me to stay home and wait for the repairman who would be over in five minutes, so I called in to work and missed my class and no one showed up!!! When a maintenance person finally came over he left a note that said he had painted. WHAT'! How is painting over the wet ceiling and walls going to help anything'! The problem went unresolved for so long that the ceiling and walls of both the bathroom and bedroom began to sag and mold...gross! There was no compensation of any sort for the stress and damages to personal property. The other reoccuring problem I experienced was with the parking lot. There was never enough parking outside my building, if you come home after 9pm (which I always did because of class) you can forget about parking in front of your building...and it only got worse with the snow! Good thing I'm not old, I could have fallen and broken a hip trying to walk from another building's parking lot carrying my belongings through a foot of snow! Many residents had to invest in their own shovels to remove the snow in the parking lot just to get their cars out. Overall, this place was not worth the hassle I put up with for so long.

If you had damage from 15 leaks, it seems like the damage would be a lot worse. The stains on the walls appear to be the result of a one time leak. I'm not a plumber or skilled in apartment maintenance but I do consider myself to be fairly reasonable have seen both major and minor leak damage. This review nor the photos would dissued me from renting from The Springs Apartments.

LOL. The part about the parking is so true! Better get home before 8 if you want to park near your apartment! It sucks, but that is funny that someone else says the same thing I always say....
