Springs Apartments

Lived there 2yrs. They drastically increased rent after the first year, there was nothing i could do and there was nothing stating it could/would happen until it did. People in the leasing office are usually of no help and 95% of the time rude. The 5% good was for when we looked at the place and signed the lease...of course. One on the ladies ended up walking into my apt with a family to show them the place, right after i got out of the shower. I managed to get something on before they busted in...."oops, wrong apt" is all i got with a stupid look. They constantly work on the exterior appearance of our apt, but that was it. Dont get me wrong, place "looked" nice. But with all the noise all the time and no warning, it was irratating to get my kid to nap. My fridge would make a very loud noise and shake every couple hours, but unless it was broke, they werent gonna fix it. Thats what they said. The water turned of many times for an unknown reason. Twice while in the shower. The dishwasher was useless, the soap release mechanism NEVER worked. But it rinsed them off for me...? Now for the best part. The only time in two years i was late on rent was our last month there. We gave the 60 day required notice we werent resigning the lease, remind your....We called and sent a letter stating financial issues, and that we'd send the other half of rent in 1 week..with the late fees added. Sent the check for half the rent, and the letter after calling. Exactly 7 days later we get a notice of eviction, because of not paying in full. We called and try to work it out and they said its too late, they already issued the court papers...what? The next day they had the rest of the money too, like we told them on the last chat. And the papers stated if we resolve it with them we dont have to go to court. Anyways, we already moved out, had the walk through, all seemed good. Then we get the court papers...we called the place again for what seemed like the millionth time. And like many ofthe previous calls, they avoided us as much as possible (sick, not in, and did talk very much). The a few days later after wondering why they didnt cash the check, and stop the whole court thing...we get yet another letter saying the only way they DONT accept the payment when its late is bya personal check, and that we for some reason have another $150 more fees.... This was never spoken or stated anywhere. This is BS. They are trying to milk every last penny out of us, even though we tried doing this the best was possible. We already paid half rent and the other half was paid about 1 week later...? This place LOOKS GOOD, but aside from that its been absolutly terrible. Now i get to go to court, miss work ($), and have to argue all of this. AFTER WE HAD SEENT ALL THE MONEY AND ALREADY MOVED OUT!
