So far I am VERY disappointed. I don't even know where to begin. I did read the reviews before visiting the property and since the review that stated "unorganized management" was from over a couple years ago, I thought that they would of had worked out that issue, but they have not.

Some Pros and Cons to consider:

Pros:
Water, sewer and trash included in rent
full size washer and dryer
accepts dogs up to 60# with a refundable deposit
No one above or below you
Thru-unit design
kid-friendly (tons of kids here)

Cons:
You must buy your own garbage can and can not put garbage in it until pick up day (you have to keep your garbage in your unit-there is a pricey fine if they catch you putting it out)
Dog rent is $50 a month
Kid friendly (if you don't like kids, don't move here)
Can not break a lease here due to job loss (which is a problem in MI). You can only break a lease if you transfer jobs, with the same company, at least 75 miles away and give a 60 day notice as well as pay back specials and an additional month of rent. I pray to God I don't get laid off while living here. Also, you can not sublease.

I find the office VERY disorganized and there are only two maintainence guys, and they work across the street at Brownstones too, so they seem to be spread too thin.

I have been a renter for ten years, so I know what questions to ask, etc and I feel like I was told what I wanted to hear to get me in.

I am also lucky enough (I am being sarcastic here) to have on either side of me, families with unsupervised teenagers that blast bass music the whole entire time thier parents are gone (which is a lot).

I would include more of what I really think, but I would like to get my deposit back and don't want retaliation from Singh Management. I will write more in a year, because there is NO WAY I am going to re-sign.
