You can do better

Let me just run down the list:
1. Parking lot needs to be repaved BAD! Pot holes all over the place to the point you cannot drive down the center of the road. You pick either the L or R side of the street. Dim lighting in parking lots.
2. Tenants are too lazy to walk to the dumpster so it is not uncommon to see trash bags sitting outside doors in the hallways. Everything from 40gallon trash bags down to grocery story bags that maybe had some type of meat wrapping that was used for a meal. I people would rather have the hallways stink, than place in their own kitchen trash and take out later.
3. GNATS!!! You cannot leave a cup of water, plate of food, or anything down for a second without a GNAT flying in your food or drink. I am drinking out a bottled water as I type. I have to literally "down" my cup of coffee or my can of pop. Cannot eat and drink at the same time. No way to guard both! I close my drains, disinfected, take trash out, don't leave dirty dishes in the sink and they are everywhere!!
4. The laundry rooms are not locked! Wash at your own risk. That is if your 1 washer or 1 dryer that is assigned to each bldg of 12 apartments even works. The crackheads break into the machines to steal quarters. Once they are repaired, they come back around to break in again.
5. The water pressure is extremely low. My shower time could be cut in half if there was enough water to wash the soap off. There can't be that many people taking showers at 5:30 am to cause the pressure to be so low. Experienced the same problem with kitchen sink although I will admit was around 6pm which could be peak time.
6. Walls are very thin. I can hear my neighbors radio down to the lyrics. I can hear conversations and children. There are open play areas and the children gang up after school and the noise carries right inside to the apartments. I don't believe children should be seen and not heard. The problem is excessive yelling, screaming and cursing. I've heard parents say "Get yo a$$ in here!" 2 little boys stood in the middle of the street as to play Chicken when I drove in from work one day.
7. Don't let the Mums around the office and the front entrance fool ya. This place is not a good place to live overall.
GOOD POINTS:
1. There has been a change in management. They seem to want to resolve some issues such as trash in hallways.
2. I noticed a safety patrol in the parking lot. Makes me feel safe walking in at night.
3. Oak Park police have a heavy presence out here.
4. There is cleaning done in the hallways about once per week. It smells good for one day, and then its back to whatever your neighbors cooked for dinner.
5. Maintenance is fast on work requests.
Final review: I had a choice between this place and another place out in Farmington. The Farmington apt was $50 more and the location was a lil farther out than I wanted. In hindsite, it would have been work the extra gas to drive and extra money to pay to have my own washer and dryer in my unit and have a much cleaner and safer place to stay. When my lease is up, I will not renew. 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C
