This place is so ghetto. Seems like you are in a rap video "tippin on 4-4s" the way you have to dodge pot holes in the parking lot. Management has numerous meetings but never seem to solve anything. Office staff is a bunch of Kelly Temp service workers. No lights in the parking lot. Not just the Oak Park Police, but you see Michigan State Police in suburbans all the time. Prostitution everywhere. All the drama goes down after the sun sets. Crack houses. People yell up for people to open the doors. Very common to see shopping carts from K-mart and Rite Aid. Hallways smell and need remodeling. Smoke detectors are never checked and in fact, the one's in my building have been beeping for the last month...a sign to change the batteries. Knats fly around in the apartments. No matter how much you deordorize there is a stench in the carpets and cabinets that just does not go away. Old fashion wall mounted A/C that only cools the living room. Closet doors are the sliding kind, on the track and all of mine have fallen off. The maintenance people look like crackheads so I'd rather leave my closet doors off than call them to fix. Bathrooms are outdated. Appliances are old. Cabinets are made out of metal with wood grain stickers to give the illusion of being wood. Apartment always smell like gas. Rusty water. The Pool looks like the pool on Next Friday with 1970s lawn chairs. TEnnis courts are even worse. The receptionist has a major attitude to the point you wonder why she even works there. If this isn't enough to convince you not to live here, maybe you do fit in with the crackheads that live here. hahaha

Not only that, but when I live there, one of the maintanence men was buying weed from some crackhead(LOL) who lived there, and he was housing the crackhead in a vacant apartment. Actually, he was housing a lot of people in vacant apartments, and not telling the office. He was charging them 150 a month, and sneaking all kinds of shady people in there. One group of crackheads got caught when they tried to get COMCAST to hook up a cable connection! How dumb can you get???
