I have lived in Village Green for almost a year with my boyfriend and we have just decided to renew our lease. While there were some problems over the last year with living there, there was often always a solution.

1. When we viewed our apartment it was slightly messy and unkept, but we notified the office staff and got new carpet, new kitchen flooring, new washer and dryer, and they removed the ugly shower sliding door and added in a hanging shower rod. We also got a brand new furnace this year. They also prorated our rent the few days we were without a washer and dryer.

2. The maintenance staff has always been fairly fast on repairs, usually getting them done within a day. Plus they bring a clean up crew with them to take care of messes like when they fixed something in our basement and got mud in the kitchen.

3. Yes, you can hear your neighbors a lot of the time, and unfortunately for us we did have the guys who "played in a band" in the basement for hours on end. I called the office just to ask what could be done and they did issue them a notification to quiet down and we have been happy since.

4. Sure the place it old and isnt the most modern, but you are allowed to do whatever you want around your "patio" area to make it look nice, and you are allowed to paint and decorate however you please. We painted and added some flowers for cheap and it made a world of difference.

Overall, there were a few bumps, but problems were always resolved and we have had an overall happy experience at Village Green.
