My husband and I moved to village green townhomes when I was pregnant with our first child. When we fist signed our lease the agent said we were encouraged to paint the interior if we wanted. I recieved my deposit check today and they are charging me for painting one room. (they said it needed to be painted over more than once thats why they charged me) Any color you paint a room, unless white, will need a second coat when you paint it a light color.
Also, the units are small, poorly taken care of and the basement leaks. My microwave broke many times, they took forever to come out to fix it. They didnt salt the back parking lot (I slipped on ice and fell 3 weeks after having my daughter). You can hear through the walls. Landscapers only took care of the front of units, not the back yards or sides.
They closed the pool/gym when the office was closed. There was an incident at the pool in which we were supposed to receive a letter... which we never did. A week later I was at the pool with my baby daughter and a man exposed himself in broad daylight. The police came and I made a statment, never once did any Village Green employee talk to me about this, apologize or anything. I can only conclude that this was the ewarlier incident they had mentioned, due to the fact they knew his name, and he was supposed to be band from the pool. If they would have sent out notice of this first incident I would not have gone to the pool that day with my baby.
In conclusion do NOT rent from them, you will regret it.

well... I love the landscaping, personally... I don't know if you've ever rented anywhere before, but Village Green is a huge step up from everything else!
