NEVER, i said NEVER consider moving here From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/2/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   This is a honest assessment of ONLY 3 months living at Cedar Creek. First let me note that the rent is cheap and for good reasoon. You would be crazy to live here even for the price they charge. Upon moving in we realized that our front door deadbolt was not locking. It was not even lined up to allow it to work properly. We had no assistance fixing this which was a far more difficult task than it should have been. Also we found that the back glass door didnt lock, the screen was sliced and both windows didnt lock. One was cracked as well. We lived there during the summer months and I have never been hotter in my life. I took 3 showers some days just to stay cool. If you like to sleep naked and still be roasting, this is the place for you. Oh and the hot water was non existant for periods at a time. Also, there is a very very large population of Russian imigrants living here. They park in assigned carport spaces, stare down women, making them very uncomfortable, live 6 deep in a 1 bedroom apartment, etc. I know when we first got there we heard they had to have an apartment occupying 30-40 russians spread out to other apartment rooms. I think the younger boys take care of the whole family on a minimum wage job. They drove expensive cars but their parents would hussle you for your belongings when you would leave your house. Note, none speak english. They also set up a card table outside by the carport and have 10 old freaks out there watching your every move. The kids situation is way out of control. I dont know how many times they ran out infront of my car or tried to follow me into the apartment when I came home. It is crazy. I even saw some playing ontop of the carports. No lie. Also, they are outside until all hours of the night screaming and trowing things and exposing therir genitals. I had the worst time sleeping. Moving on...... So besides the russians there are many other unsavory folk living there. And though many claim they can be avoided I am not sure how. They form this little gang and are very intrusive. My husband was threated on many occasions, had someone pull a knife on him, I was sexually harrased and followed throughout my building. Once someone tried to get into my car. Police are there every night and in one of the police reports we filed we found out that the guy we were having issue with threated us with a gun and owned a few. Scary thought. The apartments smell like urine and curry/nasty food etc. There is trash everywhere and the management may be the most unintelligent people I have ever met. We broke our lease and got the hell out of there. When we were packing some belongings up in my moms SUV the side windows on one side and the back windows were busted out by a charming fellow who will remain nameless. Thank goodness for insurance. I think that was the end of the management trying to settle something with us. We let them have the 100 dollar deposit and never paid them a cent more. Thoughth they raped us on 3 weeks of rent when we didnt live there anymore. Overall..... say no to cedar creek! AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt
