I was initially happy with this complex. Rats got into my walls and after maintanence and the office had been notified several times, the problem is still there. Everyday, you can here the rats scratching in my walls. I am very unhappy.

The first thing you need to do is write a note to the office (make a copy for yourself) explaining the situation. Make them aware that you will handle the problem yourself if they keep refusing. Explain that you will have the rats removed initially at your own expense, but you will be deducting the cost from your rent. If you want to get rid of them, and management/maintanence is not doing their job then call a health inspector and explain the situation. Also, call for animal control to come out and remove them. Whatever the charge, deduct it from your rent. Be sure to have documentation that you have made several attempts to contact the office but they have failed to do their job. I, too, used to be a tenent there, and I know that office and maintanence staff do not do their job. If you have propper documentation that they have not done their job then you have the right (as a tenent) to take care of it. Good luck!

I had zillions of ants crawling all over in our living room and basement window recently. I called the Pesticide company to come over and fix the problems. Landlord have not respond to my complaint and still don't.

There are bees in my walls. I have had several maintenence problems and they will not fix it! These people are horrible and will not fix anything!
