We were told that the apartment complex "shares" a plowing company and that was the reason why the plowing had not been done until almost 7 at night the day it snowed really bad. Heres the thing. We pay rent. We pay for the lawns to be mowed, the trash to be removed and for the snow to be plowed. If the apartments werent trying to cheapskate us on everything and save every penny, we would see service like is demonstrated every time it snows in the Legends/Fox Creek apartments in Clarkston. Its because nobody is complaining about their lack of service!
They did eventually plow..every car in when the inexperienced snow plow man did one pass (which was enough to jam snow under my girlfriends car so bad that it bent the exhaust). Tenents were out with ICE SCRAPERS attempting to dig themselves out.
MANAGEMENT: WE EXPECT THAT YOU ARE ON TOP OF THIS SO WE DONT HAVE TO USE OUR SPOONS TO DIG OURSELVES OUT!

Oh what you can't handle a little snow. Move from Michigan then!. Gee I didn??????t realize apartment living meant everyone that worked for the complex has to do everything for me. I need help with my groceries you think maintenance would carry them for me that is their job right? Also if you are parked in the lot being plowed then guess what sonny your car will be blocked by snow. Get off you A$$ and move your car first.

To the original poster, please call me if you have concerns with the snow plowing so I can discuss. We have an outside company that plows the parking lots and we do the shoveling of the sidewalks ourselves. We've worked with the outside company for years and they consistently provide prompt service. However we usually wait until the end of a bad storm to plow. If it's the day that I am thinking about, I don't believe it stopped snowing until early evening so that might be why your parking lot wasn't plowed until then. I could be wrong however, so lets discuss. Also, if there was ANY DAMAGE to your car, please let the office or me know. This is unacceptable. Office: 248-373-5800 or my number is: 248-932-2750. If e-mail is more convenient: aub@villagegreen.com or Bhamburger@villagegreen.com.
Also, if someone is plowed in we can assist you in getting your car out. Just call us!
