Very Disappointing

Ok.So here's the deal. I was very impressed with this place when I looked at the model. Don't go by the model!!! I should have known this would be a bad place when I asked the leasing agent if this place was quiet and he hesitated. This place is anything but quiet. The people who live here are rude, loud, and obnoxious! I think the people who live here are trash. I suspect they allow Section 8 residents here and historically, they are bad tenants. I work very hard and I expect it to be quiet at night but it usually never is.
I have also had a few maintenance issues and it took quite some time for the problems to be fixed. My phone jack in the kitchen has never worked and I have told the management about this. Nothing was ever done about it and I'll be damned if I am going to pay for something that was already broken when I moved in.
I also feel like a piece of meat when I walk out of my apartment. Being a single woman, I don't feel safe a good deal of the time when I am just going quickly to my car. Needless to say, I am not renewing my lease and I intend to get out of there as soon as my lease is up.
Another interesting little fact: This property is technically in Auburn Hills but when it was set up by the original owners they claimed it was Pontiac property. That has never been changed. Even though you are technically not a Pontiac resident, you still have to pay Pontiac tax because of the original arrangement.
