LIVING ROOM: Although the carpet was changed when we moved in the padding was not, so stains began appearing everywhere! The heat vents are all dirty and bent and look as though them have been through train wrecks! The heat is always on, there is no way to turn it off completely! The air conditioner appears to be from the 80's! Sliding door lock never worked, and screen was torn. KITCHEN: small, cabinets are crooked and have dated stickers on inside of 1973! Stove fan/lights never worked, light over sink never worked, dishwasher was filthy upon moving in. HALLWAY: Very poor lighting for closet position, smoke alarm does not work. BATHROOM: Sink drain plug inoperable, bath tub step-plug was missing, 1 of 4 mirror lights never worked. No room for storage! BEDROOM 1: way too small! A twin bed is too big for that room! Closet doors fall off track and hinges constantly. BEDROOM 2: Closet light blows out lightbulbs instantly. Shelf above clothes rack is crooked and uneven (things fall right back down). Cannot open window due to bees nest inside the window track! We even found a dead fish in the heating vent! SECURITY: you need a key to enter the building, but even the maintenence will open the door for anyone! STORAGE AREA: You get a very small storage room for belongings, but it is filthy and infested with bugs. GROUNDS: They removed all the beautiful trees, but left the sticky smelly bug infested bushes up against the windows! LAUNDRY: You must share 2 washers and 2 dryers between 16 apartments, and it costs $3.00 to wash one small load! NEIGHBORS: Kids continuously come and stare into your apartment through the sliding door, and never stop! People place garbage in hallways including dirty diapers! Noise however is not a big problem! MAINTENENCE: You can call them, yes...doesn't mean they will come. If they do, most of the time they hire a professional to come do the dirty work and then they charge you for it! Still waiting for most problems with apartment to be fixed, been waiting 3 years! MY RECOMMENDATION: Look elsewhere before considering this place!
